Hosting
This website is hosted externally by STRATO GmbH. The provider is STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany (hereinafter "STRATO"). When you visit the website, STRATO collects various technical data required for its secure and stable operation.
STRATO is used in the interest of a secure, fast and reliable provision of our online offering (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We have concluded a data processing agreement with STRATO pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Server log files
The provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These are in particular:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies of its own for analytics, tracking or marketing purposes. Local storage of the browser is used solely to save a draft of the Land Check on your device so that entries are not lost — this data remains on your device and is not transmitted to us until you send the form.
Where technically necessary cookies are used, this is based on Section 25 (2) TDDDG; the processing of the associated personal data is based on our legitimate interest in the error-free provision of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Consent is not required for this.
Fonts, images and embedded content
All fonts, images, documents and embedded animations of this website are delivered from our own server. No connection to third-party servers (for example Google Fonts or content delivery networks) is established when you open a page, and no data is transmitted to third parties in this context.
The website therefore works without a consent banner: in its default state it makes no external requests.

Contact via the contact form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form or by e-mail, your details (in particular name, company, e-mail address, the role you select and your message) are stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions.
Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you give via the confirmation in the form, and — where the enquiry is aimed at concluding or initiating a contract — on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. You may withdraw consent given at any time with effect for the future.
Your data remains with us until the purpose of storage no longer applies, you request erasure or you withdraw your consent — unless statutory retention obligations prevent this.
Land Check
If you use the Land Check on the land development page, we process the details you provide about the site (municipality, plot details, size, use, location, your role and timeframe, your preferred form of settlement) together with your contact details (name, phone, e-mail, preferred time to be reached).
The processing serves the free initial review of your land and contacting you about it. It is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) and on steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). Your details are not passed on to third parties.
For the classification of our services — in particular that our initial assessment does not constitute legal, tax or financial advice — please see our Legal Notes.
Acquisition profiles and confidentiality confirmation
Before the acquisition profiles are released for download, we ask for your name, e-mail address and, optionally, your organisation, and we record the time of your confirmation. We process these details to supply the requested documents, to document the confidentiality confirmation and to contact you in connection with your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR).
You receive a copy of the confidentiality undertaking by e-mail. The documentation of the confirmation is retained for the term of the confidentiality obligations (three years) and thereafter for as long as statutory retention obligations require.
Retention period
Unless a more specific retention period has been stated within this privacy policy, your personal data remains with us until the purpose of the data processing no longer applies. Where statutory retention periods exist (for instance under commercial or tax law), the data is routinely erased after these periods expire.
SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser’s address line changing from "http://" to "https://".
